Every human powers down for roughly a third of each day, with no option to defer the update. Students study the sleep cycle, the alarm clock, the snooze button, and the curious belief that five more minutes will help. Includes a unit on scheduling: why nothing important should be sent to a human at 2 a.m., and why they will reply anyway.
